Karin Dobernig is a Teaching and Research Associate in the Marketing & Sales Department. She was one of the very first BCi graduates and has recently obtained a PhD at the Department of Socio-Economics of the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna). Apart from her position at the FHWN, she is also a research assistant at the WU Vienna where she has been involved in several projects on Pro-Environmental Behaviors and Sustainable Consumption. In the course of her work and studies, she has collaborated with several researchers from Europe and the US; she also was a Visiting Scholar at New York University in 2013. At the FHWN, she teaches Consumer Behavior and Research Methodology and is currently conducting a research project that investigates environmental behaviors, attitudes and values of Austrian citizens.
