Human behaviour in an economical context
The department “Economics & Philosophy of Science“ deals with the relationship between human behaviour and economic conditions.
Within the study programme “Wirtschaftsberatung” we understand “Volkswirtschaftlehre“ as Business Economics – practically oriented analysis and decision making processes for the individual decision competencies of business economists, managers and business consultants.
“Business Economics” communicates to students the knowledge necessary for the clarification of conditions where sustainable, continual and successful economic prosperity for the individual as well as for society as a whole is possible.
- The improvement of individual decision making competencies by the training of analytical, systematic and ‘outside the frame’ mind set of individual businesses.
- Consequently a “leverage effect’ results for individual decision making competencies which are of essential importance in the execution of leadership and advisory tasks as well as consulting positions in business and politics.
