Personenbeschreibung | personal description


Markus Hammer is the Senior Manager of Operations Learning in McKinsey & Company’s global Operations practice based in the Vienna office in Austria. He leads a team of learning professionals that design, develop, and deliver Operations learning programs globally, targeting more than 2000 practitioners spread over 80+ offices. He is a core faculty in McKinsey's global Digital Capability Center network and also serves as lecturer at the Institute of Innovation and Industrial Management at Graz University of Technology. He published several articles on McKinsey’s Operations Insights and the books “Unlocking Industrial Resource Productivity: 5 core beliefs to increase profits through energy, material, and water efficiency” and "Management Approach for Resource-Productive Operations: Design of a Time-Based and Analytics-Supported Methodology Grounded in Six Sigma". Prior to McKinsey, Markus Hammer worked as Site Integrated Working System Leader and Process & Project Engineer at Procter & Gamble in Germany.
