Main costs of your studies

The University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt finances your place at our establishment by collecting a tuition fee. In addition to the tuition fees, all students are required to pay fees to the student union.

Current fees (academic year 23/24)

• Tuition fees per semester: EUR 363.36
• Student union fee per semester: EUR 22.70

Current fees for nationals of third countries in English-taught degree programmes:

(i.e. all countries except those belonging to the EEA or Switzerland), as far as they do not fall under the persons mentioned in the Regulation on Eligible Groups of Persons as amended by Federal Law Gazette II 15/1998)

• Tuition fees per semester: EUR 726.72
• One-time registration fee: EUR 250.00 (this fee will be deducted from the tuition fee upon admission to the programme and is non-refundable)
• Student union fee per semester: EUR 22.70

Please note: These fees for nationals of third countries will apply to applicants for all English-taught degree programmes from study year 2024/25 onwards.

Additional costs

• Costs of course materials such as lecture notes, books, stationery, etc.
  
• Accommodation costs – accommodation in the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt’s hall of residence costs EUR 200.00 to EUR 300.00 per month, depending on the room you choose.
• Costs of living
• Travel costs for arrival
• Costs of technical equipment, e.g. a laptop

As a student at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt you are (under certain conditions) entitled to grants, support and scholarships.
