FOTEC Forschungs- und Technologietransfer GmbH supports the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, both in the initiation and implementation of national and international research and development projects. The University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt founded FOTEC as its research company in 1998.
FOTEC operates in a highly interdisciplinary environment with a network of national and international business partners, research institutions, universities and colleges, intermediary organisations and funding institutions, thus representing an important interface between academics, science and business.
FOTEC’s core competencies lie in the areas of additive manufacturing (3D printing), software development and aerospace engineering, as well as project management of research and development projects.
