What to expect at the FHWN Open House
At Open House 2026, you’ll gain first-hand insights into your preferred study programme, explore labs and student projects, and meet our students and lecturers in person. Campus 1 is home to our programmes in engineering, health, sports and security, while the City Campus focuses on business-related degrees. Admission is free of charge, and a shuttle service connects both campuses with Wiener Neustadt train station throughout the event.

Lab & makerspace highlights:
- Technology labs in Area27: Over 14 labs for hands-on research, prototyping and technical projects.
💡Note: Computer Science and Informatics are located at Campus 1. - Health labs: e.g. Care Labs as well as sonography and radiography labs.
- Sports labs: Endurance and strength testing with modern sports science equipment.
- Business labs: e.g. data analysis, marketing simulations and sales training.
- Innovation Lab: Our 1,100 m² makerspace designed for creativity – including 3D printing, laser technology, wood & metal workshops.

Looking back: Open House November 2025
At the Open House November 2025 of the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, many guests from Austria and abroad explored our wide range of study programmes. Modern labs, real student projects and in-depth consultations gave them a comprehensive impression of studying at FHWN.

How can I get advice during the Open House?
moreYou can speak with our students and lecturers at the information stands at any time during the event. Our advisory team is also available, and our friendly guides will be happy to show you around.
Where can I find the study programme and the right campus for me?
moreAll programmes are clearly marked on site and grouped by subject area. If you’re unsure, our info team is here to help. You can also check our online programme, which will be available on the day of the event.

Do I need to register, and is the event free of charge?
moreNo registration is needed. Just drop by on 27 February 2026 anytime between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. All programme features – including the shuttle service – are completely free.
Can I visit both locations (Campus 1 and City Campus)?
moreAbsolutely! A free shuttle runs regularly between Campus 1, the City Campus and the train station. Just make sure to plan in a little extra time.
What if I can’t attend on that day?
moreNo worries! You can contact our study advisory team or join one of our online infosessions. You’ll also find the full range of study programmes taught in English on our website at any time.
Can I bring someone with me?
moreOf course. Feel free to bring along family, friends or anyone else interested in studying with at FHWN.
Will I receive a confirmation for school if I miss class for the Open House?
moreYes! If you're missing school to attend the Open House, simply collect a confirmation of attendance at our Service Point. This document serves as official proof that you visited FHWN.
