Our International Office is committed to supporting and promoting our students in an intercultural environment. We facilitate international and crosscultural experiences, perspectives and initiatives. Our team serves as first point of contact for all matters with regards to your exchange semester.
Free airport pick-up
We understand that arriving in a new country can be quite exciting! Free airport pick-up from Vienna International Airport is offered on the weekend prior to the semester start, supported by our Buddy network. The service can only be provided to those who register in time.
Orientation
A typical Austrian breakfast is the kick-off for our tailor-made orientation session. You have the opportunity to meet with an academic advisor and to be introduced to the university’s resources and services. Orientation is mandatory for all guest students.
International programme
Our university organises a language & culture course programme exclusively for incoming exchange students (academic credits granted).
Financially supported excursions
Participate in our excursion programme for guest students, experience Austria’s nature, culture, history and lifestyle. Four trips per semester are partly sponsored by our university.
Buddy network
Our Buddy Network consists of a group of volunteering regular students who help you settling into your new home.
